New guidelines and operationg protocols against COVID -19
Lagos del Calafate hotel received the international Safe Travels seal, which is awarded by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), a badge of support to tourist destinations and establishments that adopt and comply with hygiene, sanitation and physical distancing protocols.
The seal guarantees that Lagos Del Calafate Hotel is a prepared hotel that meets all global health and hygiene requirements and guidelines, established and endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for the Control and Prevention of Diseases (CDC) and the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC).
In response to COVID-19, Lagos Del Calafate Hotel has developed new operating procedures and mandatory
training in an effort to ensure the safety of our staff and our guests.
We detail them below:

Training of personnel in hygiene and cleaning.

Increased cleaning frequency with hospital grade
disinfectants on all high contact surfaces, and areas such as lobby, rooms, restaurant, meeting and
event spaces, recreation areas, public restrooms, exercise room, elevator buttons, areas for employees
and all those spaces and / or surfaces with a high degree of contact in all sectors of the
establishment.

Implementation of improved food safety and hygiene protocols for restaurant service,
lobby bar, room service and breakfast service.

Safety distance and optimal state of hygiene in the
breakfast room, restaurant, lobby bar, front desk and common spaces.

Security screens between staff and
guests in the necessary areas.

For breakfast and restaurant services, shifts will be designated for
meals so that as few people as possible coincide during them.

In all common spaces, there are hand sanitizer stations located visibly available for all our guests.

Face masks and other safety and
hygiene equipment for hotel staff as required by each position.

New amenities (healthcare amenities) have been incorporated for our passengers according to current needs during the health emergency, including gel alcohol.

Temperature measurement at the entrance of the establishment
using an infrared thermometer, without physical contact.

Specific signage with preventive regulations
and guidelines to be followed by guests were included.

Increase in daily and periodic ventilation of the different areas of the hotel and common use spaces.

The contingency plan has been reported to employees for its proper start-up and maintenance. Suppliers
and customers will also be informed of the measures that directly affect them and that must be applied
(e.g. use of face masks, hand washing, safety distance, etc.)

Check in online with contact reduction.

We have developed a Mobile Application available for Apple and Android that allows guests to access and
interact with all the Hotel services from the comfort of their Smartphones, multi-language. The app
includes chat with the different hotel services (front desk, restaurant, spa), gastronomy service menu,
room service, information and map of the destination and all the information necessary and required by
the passenger during their stay.

Lock opening by using bluetooh technology from the passenger's Smartphone, electronic keys (E-KEY).
In addition, we remain vigilant and follow the procedures and protocols recommended by the World Health
Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other leading
organizations and experts.
